Dozens of producers and DJs will participate in a 48-hour radio marathon to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts in India, starting today (May 13) from 2:30 p.m. Eastern. The sets will air via the New Delhi–based online radio community boxout.fm. Kindness, Jacques Greene, Leon Vynehall, Coldcut, HAAi, Daedalus, Habibi Funk, Bok Bok, DJ Koco, DJ Seinfeld, Emptyset, Jubilee, and more are among the artists set to DJ. Proceedings are due to wind up on Saturday, but may run beyond the 48-hour mark.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to GiveIndia, a nonprofit working to help COVID-19 patients, their families, and healthcare workers in India. Make a donation here, and tune in at boxout.fm. “India urgently needs the support of the global music community, and this is boxout.fm’s way of reaching out to friends and well-wishers around the world,” they write in a press release.
