The first true shopping weekend of the year has arrived. Presidents’ Day sales aren’t typically where we see the steepest discounts on tech and appliances—that’s usually Prime Day or Cyber week—but you can still snag better-than-decent prices on a bunch good gear. And Presidents’ Day sales offer some of the very best discounts on mattresses and other home goods. After scanning the internet commerce portals far and wide, here’s the list of Presidents’ Day sales we’ve found that are actually worth your time.
The Best Presidents’ Day Tech Sales
Amazon: As you’d expect, Amazon has a lot of tech details kicking this weekend, including on some speakers, Bluetooth headphones, and Wi-Fi routers. The best among them might be on the near-perfect Apple AirPods Pro, which are down to $180 from their usual price at $250.
Best Buy: Best Buy’s Presidents’ Day sale primarily focuses on Microsoft laptops and small appliances, but there are some TVs, headphones, and cell phones on sale too. Among the headphone discounts, you’ll find the Jabra Elite Active 75t, the best wireless workout headphones we’ve tested. The headphones, typically $200, are now $130.
HP: A bunch of HP’s mini-computers, laptops, and accessories are up to 45% off through the weekend.
Walmart: Walmart isn’t offering any truly headline-grabbing discounts this Presidents’ Day, but there are some solid rollbacks on gaming gear and Apple accessories.
The Best Presidents’ Day Furniture and Home Goods Sales
AllModern: AllModern’s Presidents’ Day sale spans a bunch of categories. You can get up to 40% living room furniture, dining furniture, and rugs, among other things. With some items, you can use code “EXTRA15” to get an additional 15% off. As usual, the rug sales in particular are worth scanning, especially if you want something muted and elegant.
Article: Article’s modern, comfortable, and vaguely Scandinavian furniture is on sale for up to 15% off right now. That discount applies to a slew of couches, home office chairs, and lamps.
Bed, Bath, & Beyond: Up to 75% a variety of home goods.

When you spend more than that, you get $200 off with the same code. When you spend more than $2,200, the code gets you $250 off. When you spend more that $2,600, you get $300 off. Spend more than $3,600, you get $400 off. Spend more than $4,000, you get $500 off.
The Container Store: Good news for anyone interested in a custom closet, the Container Store’s Elfa system is 30% off right now. You can either have one of their experts tell you what to buy after a free consultation, or just purchase individual components.
Crate and Barrel: In addition to its usual clearance section, Crate and Barrel is offering 20% off office gear from Humanscale. That sale includes a bunch of office chairs, standing desk solutions, and this great, spindly floor lamp.
Georg Jensen: If you’re willing to make an account on its site, you can get the opulent home goods available at George Jensen for 20% off their sticker price through Monday.
Hayneedle: Hayneedle is currently running three sale events. The self-explanatory “Home Office Edit” and “Upholstery Update” sales each include discounts of up to 30% off. The “Winter Patio” sale—a mix of patio furniture and fire pits—includes discounts of up to 25% off.
